How to Treat a Marked Spot, Step by Step

  • Kidney disease. Increased urination, including in unusual locations, combined with increased thirst, weight loss, and lethargy in a pet over seven warrants a senior bloodwork panel. Kidney disease is common in older cats and dogs and is manageable when caught early.
