How does Skedazzle work?
Three jobs, one bottle. Our powerful enzymatic blend breaks down stains and odor at the molecular level — no cover-ups. A plant-based deterrent then signals to cats and dogs not to re-mark the same spot. Most cleaners stop at clean. We help stop the repeat.
How is Skedazzle different from other enzymatic cleaners?
Most enzymatic cleaners only react. They eliminate what's already there. Skedazzle is the only spray that also helps prevents your pet from marking the same spot again — that's the difference between cleaning a problem and ending it.
Will it really stop my pet from marking the same spot?
The organic botanical deterrent in Skedazzle works for both cats and dogs to help break the marking habit at trained spots. Like any habit, persistence helps and Skedazzle needs to be paired with behavioral training — saturate the area fully and reapply on repeat offenders until the behavior fully shifts.
Does Skedazzle work on old, set-in stains?
Yes, but set-in stains usually need 2–3+ applications to fully break down depending on the severity of the stain. Saturate, let dry completely, and repeat. The older the stain, the more patience it needs.
How long until I see (and smell) results?
The fragrance lifts immediately on application. Stain breakdown happens as it dries — typically a few hours. For odor elimination at the source, allow 24 hours for the enzymes to do their full work.
How long does one 32oz bottle last?
It depends on how often you reach for it. Here's a rough guide:
- Occasional use (a few accidents a month, mostly preventive): 2–3 months per bottle
- Regular use (one pet in training, mild marking issue, weekly accidents): 4–6 weeks per bottle
- Heavy use (active marking issue, multi-pet household, set-in stains): 2–4 weeks per bottle
Most pet parents with a real marking issue go through their first bottle faster than they expected — that's why the 2-pack is our most popular choice.
